What to Do in Tobermory

Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust – a charitable organisation dedicated to ‘the conservation of Scotland’s whales, dolphins and porpoises and the Hebridean marine environment through education, research and working with Hebridean communities’. Well worth a visit for information on marine life surrounding Mull

Isle of Mull Museum – on the Main Street.  Small, but packed full of interesting artifacts and information about Mull of the past Mull Museum
An Tobar Arts Centre – situated in upper Tobermory, a small café and shop with gallery featuring local artists’ work.  In the evenings there is sometimes live music and ceilidhs and everyone is welcome so look out for local notices along the Main Street. An tobar
Tobermory Distillery  - take a tour round the distillery which is situated across the road near the Ledaig car park distillery
Many wildlife tours available leaving from Tobermory at the Trips and Tours office in the Ledaig Car park Wildlife Tours
Balamory tour – take a walk round the streets of ‘Balamory’ to spot all the houses featured in the popular children’s television programme Miss Hoolies house
Tourist Information is based at the MacBrayne Pier on the Main Street (the opposite end to Harbour Guest House) tourist office

There are a number of eateries in Tobermory, all within walking distance of Harbour Guest House and to suit different pockets, from fish and chips and pub food to fine cuisine, you will find something to enjoy and we are happy to recommend places to you during your stay.  Most are within easy walking distance of Harbour Guest House
