For those travelling on the Lochaline-Fishnish ferry:

Upon leaving the Fishnish road, turn right to join the main road.  Continue on that road for approximately 15 miles until you see the sign for Tobermory.  You will pass through the village of Salen along the way.  Once past the Tobermory signpost, continue straight ahead until you reach a mini roundabout.  Here, turn right, signposted Main Street.   Once at the bottom of the hill, Harbour Guest House is the first Guest House on the left hand side, next to the Scottish Hydro Electricity Shop and Tobermory Chocolate Shop

For those travelling on the Oban-Craignure ferry:

Upon leaving the Craignure ferry turn immediately right onto the main road.  Continue on that road for approximately 22 miles until you see the sign for Tobermory.  You will pass through the village of Salen along the way.  Once past the Tobermory signpost, continue straight ahead until you reach a mini roundabout.  Here, turn right, signposted Main Street.  Once at the bottom of the hill, Harbour Guest House is the first Guest House on the left hand side, next to the Scottish Hydro Electricity Shop and Tobermory Chocolate Shop

Please note that the roads on the Island are mostly single track .  Care must be taken when driving and you MUST use the passing places on either side of the road to allow those behind you, wishing to overtake, to do so and allow oncoming traffic to pass by as well.
